Several people were hurt in a chain-reaction accident that began when a motorcycle hit a deer about 5:44 a.m. Tuesday on Texas 199 at Nine Mile Bridge Road. None of the victims had life-threatening injuries, but that all were taken to a hospital. The fate of the deer was not immediately known. The motorcyclist was able to bring the bike to a stop after the collision, and a car that came upon the scene also stopped. Unfortunately, a second car couldn't stop and struck the first car, which was knocked into the motorcycle.
