Pedestrian Killed by Car in Austin

An 88-year-old man was crossing the street in East Austin on March 28th when he was hit by a car and killed. The pedestrian accident happened around 7:30 in the morning on East Riverside Drive.

Police are still investigating, but they do not believe alcohol is a factor.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the vehicular homicide detectives at 512-974-8212.
